Alina McGuinness, Director

Alina has been a lecturer in the Diploma of Accounting Program (DAP) at UBC Sauder School of Business since 2017 and she is a 5-time recipient of the DAP Teaching Excellence Award. Before joining UBC, Alina articled at KPMG, where she obtained her Chartered Accountant designation. She later held various management roles in the transportation and food services industries. Alina has been a member of the Foundation’s Finance & Audit Committee since 2022. She also serves as Vice-Chair for CPA Canada’s Board of Examiners and Treasurer for the North Shore Lifeboat Society.
