Marketing Director (Part-time Contract)
ABOUT LGH FOUNDATION
Lions Gate Hospital Foundation is the fundraising arm of Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. In the past 10 years the Foundation has raised more than $220 million to accelerate patient care at heath care facilities across the North Shore. We are a busy and dynamic team that works closely to raise the funds needed to improve and save the lives of patients and support the work of our dedicated medical professionals caring for them.
OPPORTUNITY
To create a marketing strategy that will evolve our marketing efforts and grow our number of new donors on the North Shore by 10% annually. The strategy developed by the successful candidate will maximize the impact of our new Split Screen Campaign and capitalize on its integration with existing Foundation marketing and communications activities. It will increase awareness, grow relevancy through the Split Screen Campaign and capture information on donors to allow for building a direct and indirect relationship with them.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled marketing strategist able to employ impactful marketing techniques that will help strengthen our market presence in North/West Vancouver and amplify our unique “voice” to propel our mission to make a difference in local health care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting a review and evaluation on all current Foundation marketing and communications activities on and off the LGH campus.
- Polling a segment of new donors to provide empirical data on why new donors give.
- Conducting competitor research.
- Developing a marketing strategy with long and short term goals that will guide Foundation marketing efforts for the next three years.
- Evaluating available Foundation resources for implementation and recommending a resource plan moving forward.
- Deadline for presentation of strategy to the Foundation: December 31, 2023
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in marketing and running a marketing team.
- Proven marketing campaign experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the latest on and offline marketing trends.
- Excellent writing and research skills; strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
REPORTING
Works closely with the Vice President and Communications Manager with oversight by the President & CEO.
