Everyone that ever met Hourieh will remember that she always had a smile on her face – no matter what circumstances she faced. She was a kind, loving, calm, strong, and brave person. Her beautiful life ended on August 28, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. I had the great fortune of having Hourieh as my mother and I miss her loving presence every day. She enjoyed living in Vancouver being surrounded by beautiful nature and amazing friends for the last decade of her life. I am thankful to all the medical care teams especially the Lions Gate Hospital Chemotherapy and Intervention Radiology for their wonderful care and support. I hope your generosity assists in keeping the same level of care for everyone in the future.
