Lorraine was a loving and patient mother and wife, who’s calm and intelligent approach to life was a guiding light for everyone around her. As the youngest of a large family she was an unwavering force of reliability and support to her many older siblings, whom all frequently visited her and enjoyed the comfortable loving home she provided. She had a long and meaningful career in speech pathology where she provided children with life-changing guidance on communication. She loved her students and often talked about the humorous things they said and expressed compassion towards their circumstances. Most will remember her for her quiet, loving demeanour, and sarcastic humour. We were all so lucky we were to have had Lorraine in our lives, and to have shared our moments within her peaceful embrace.
