WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- What an executor is responsible for
- The key steps in estate administration
- Where challenges and delays often arise
- How to make things easier for your executor
- What to consider when choosing an executor
Being named an executor can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re not sure where to start or what’s expected of you.
In this practical, one-hour session, you’ll be guided through the key steps of estate administration, from the first responsibilities after a death through to final distribution. Nicole will walk through what executors actually need to do, where challenges tend to arise, and how to avoid common mistakes that can lead to delays, stress, or conflict.
You’ll also gain insight into what you’re asking of someone when you name them as your executor, and how thoughtful planning can make that role clearer and more manageable.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the process, and a better sense of how to approach it with confidence, whether you’ve been named as an executor or are planning ahead for your own estate.
