It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guilbert Ho, who departed this life at the age of 82. Guilbert was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, whose warm presence, selfless spirit, and personal touch will be deeply missed.
Family was at the heart of Guilbert’s life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol; his cherished daughter, Carolyn; his loving son, Ronald and daughter-in-law Lindsey; and his adored grandchildren, Amelia, and twin boys, Aaron and Aydan. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Margaret, Annette, David, George, John, and Mei, who shared a lifetime of memories and a deep bond that spanned the globe. No matter the distance, he maintained close ties with his siblings, a testament to his enduring commitment to family.
Known for his warmth and humor, Guilbert had a gift for making people feel at ease. He could converse easily with anyone, relating to them through a shared laugh or lighthearted joke. This approachable, joyful spirit was one of his many qualities that endeared him to family, friends, and strangers alike.
A devoted Catholic, Guilbert lived his life guided by his faith, finding strength, purpose, and joy in his relationship with God. His commitment to service, compassion, and humility reflected his deeply held beliefs, which inspired his family and everyone blessed to know him.
Guilbert’s many lasting friendships are a testament to the kindness, integrity, and respect he offered to all who knew him. His family and friends will carry forward his legacy of faith, compassion, and dedication to community, cherishing the love, laughter, and wisdom he brought into their lives.
