2025 Christmas charity cards

Two students have been named joint winners for the annual Design a Christmas Card Contest run by Lions Gate Hospital Foundation. Claire Tippett, a Grade 9 student from Lions Gate Christian Academy is joined by two-time winner, Lauren Yung, a Grade 11 student at Handsworth Secondary School.

Capturing the spirit of the North Shore, the colourful works of art showcase iconic scenes — a tugboat cutting through frigid winter waters and a gondola gliding above sparkling snow-capped mountains.

The annual contest is now in its tenth successful year and this year, all proceeds from the charity cards will go towards the Re-Imagine Rehab Campaign to revitalize rehabilitation services at Lions Gate Hospital.

The cards are now on on sale at all four Save-On-Foods stores in North Vancouver. They are also available from the LGH Foundation offices at Lions Gate Hospital. The charity cards cost $15 for a pack of 10.
