In Loving Memory of Veronica Chan, born on July 26, 1953, and passed away on March 23, 2024.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one, Veronica Chan. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, cheerfulness, and unwavering friendship.

Veronica grew up in Hong Kong and arrived in Vancouver in 1971 to finish her college studies. After school she started her career working in banking and eventually transitioned to real estate where she enjoyed success as a realtor for 30 years.

Veronica was passionate about helping others and her values led her to be very involved in charitable community service. She participated as a past president of Vancouver Cathay Lions Club, a past director of CCF Community Care Foundation, a past director of SUCCESS Foundation and other charitable services. She poured her heart and soul into many worthwhile causes and was always enthusiastic in helping where she could.

Veronica leaves behind her loving family, including brother Bob and his wife Sandy, brother Bill, sister Florence, and nephew Jonathon and his wife Michelle. Veronica will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service to celebrate Veronica Chan’s life will be held at Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church, 599 Keith Rd., West Vancouver, BC. V7T 1L8
Funeral Wake (Viewing): April 10th, 2024 – 7pm prayer; 7:30pm viewing.
Funeral Service: April 11th, 2024 at 11am (closed coffin); Reception: 12pm
