The West Vancouver Adult Day Centre
With the tsunami of seniors with dementia, cognitive impairment and physical limitations needing care or intervention, now is the time to create a purpose-built space for the West Vancouver Adult Day Program.
An Adult Day Program provides clients with dementia, cognitive impairment and physical limitations a safe, secure environment in which to spend the day or part of the day with others. Supervised activities are provided by professional staff (such as arts and crafts, music, and games) as well as appropriate physical exercises which can help to reduce falls. Meaningful social interaction with others has been shown to improve both mental and physical health and helps to prevent or delay cognitive decline.
Your generous contribution will support the completion of the West Van Adult Day Centre that is currently under construction at Gordon and 22nd Ave in West Vancouver.
