Donor Recognition at Lions Gate Hospital Foundation
Lions Gate Hospital Foundation is pleased to be able to publicly recognize the generosity of our supporters on our donor walls which are prominently displayed throughout our facilities. Donors are recognized for their cumulative contribution and our donor walls are updated every Spring.
Equipment Purchases
Exclusive naming opportunities, such as clinical spaces and hospital rooms, are depending on availability for donations of $100,000+.

In addition to our donor walls, we have unique opportunities for donors who wish to fund new equipment purchases, allowing us to recognize the donor on a special plaque on the equipment (if space permits).
All donations are tax deductible with 100% of the proceeds benefiting LGHF supported facilities.
A Story of Giving That Grew
Bob and Barbara Atkinson, longtime West Vancouver residents, began with a $100 donation. Over the years, their gifts grew to support the Emergency Department, the Paul Myers Tower and the Oncology Clinic, and today a waiting room at Lions Gate Hospital carries their names.

Recognition for Community Fundraisers
You can also earn a place on our donor walls by raising funds for Lions Gate Hospital. Groups that raise $1,000 or more through a community event can have the event host recognized on our donor wall, and birthday fundraisers that raise $1,000 or more are recognized on our main donor wall. The Chair’s Circle
Donors who have contributed $100,000 or more over their lifetime and continue to support the Foundation are recognized in the Chair’s Circle at four levels: Visionaries, Benefactors, Leaders and Patrons. New members are celebrated at a special Chair’s Circle ceremony.
The Legacy Society
The Legacy Society honours those who have included Lions Gate Hospital Foundation in their estate plans, whether through a Will, life insurance, registered funds or a trust. Members are recognized in the hospital and invited to events throughout the year.
Tribute Recognition
A tribute gift is a meaningful way to honour someone special. With a donation of $250 to our Memorial Totem Pole, a plaque engraved with your loved one’s name will be displayed on a totem pole carved by Squamish Nation artist Darren Yelton (K’nakweltn), standing on the grounds of Lions Gate Hospital. You can also donate in tribute of a friend, family member or caregiver.
