Exhibition and Charity Sale
“SUNZEN Young Artists Charity Project” aims to raise funds for Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, and to support young creatives pursue their goals in the art field. This exhibition and charity sale will provide young artists an opportunity to participate in and experience the whole process of creation, curation, exhibition arrangement and sales to help them get to know how the field operates. Meanwhile, they will receive comments and advise from professional artists and industry insiders to help them gain more insights on their own artistic practices. The participating artists will focus on the theme “Reincarnation” and explore the relationship between the past and the present, tradition and contemporary through their works.
This youth art exhibition will be held both online and in-gallery at Sunzen Art Gallery from February 6th, 2021. During the exhibition, professional artists, art critics and gallerists will provide professional comments on each work and select 3 favourite works from two group categories – professional and non-professional – as the winners of the “Selection Award”.
Support Young Artists and the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation
A charity sale will be hosted by Sunzen Art Gallery during the exhibition, both in-gallery and online. All proceeds will be donated to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation. The gallery will strictly follow provincial health orders to ensure the health and safety of all staff and visitors.
